Role and Facility Information The Surrey Radiology Group is seeking two full-time (2 x 1.0FTE) radiologists to join our radiologist team at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) in Surrey, British Columbia. Practice Overview The Medical Imaging Departments at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services to one of the fastestgrowing regions in British Columbia. SMH is a 600+ bed community and academic teaching hospital and the largest acutecare facility within the Fraser Health Authority, serving a population of over 600,000. It functions as a regional referral centre for complex and highacuity care, supporting major programs including oncology, thoracic surgery, trauma, critical care, nephrology, maternalchild health, and one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the province. JPOCSC is a modern, purposebuilt ambulatory care facility focused on highvolume outpatient imaging, sameday surgery, and specialty clinics. It provides scheduled outpatient CT, MRI, Xray, ultrasound, mammography, and minor interventional procedures, and works in close integration with SMH to support efficient care delivery and surgical waittime reduction. Both sites are supported by stateoftheart imaging equipment and a highly integrated multidisciplinary team, enabling efficient, highquality patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Group And Academic Environment Our 15member radiology group is built on a culture of collegiality, equity, and mutual support, and is predominantly fellowshiptrained with broad subspecialty expertise. The practice offers a wellbalanced combination of onsite and remote clinical work, complemented by flexible scheduling. Compensation is highly competitive and based on an equitable pooled group billing model. Through our partnership with the University of British Columbia Department of Radiology, members have opportunities to teach senior radiology residents, with anticipated growth in academic engagement. Qualifications Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Fellowshiplevel training, ideally in Cardiothoracic Imaging, Breast Imaging, or Neuroradiology.
