Your new company Hays Property & Facilities, on behalf of our client, an established real estate investment and property management firm, is seeking a Property Administrator for a 24month contract. Based in Surrey, BC, youll support a major mixeduse portfolio spanning 1.5 million sq. ft., including a shopping centre, a university campus, and a premier office tower. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful operational exposure within a well-run, supportive property management team.Your new role As the Property Administrator, you will play a central role in keeping the propertys operations running smoothly. Youll be the key coordinator for all contract and operational documentation, ensuring agreements, vendor reporting, preventative maintenance, and compliance requirements are tracked and executed accurately. About 30% of your role will support the Leasing team through lease administration activities, preparing shortterm tenancies, updating lease records, managing renewals, and assisting with property tours. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, fastpaced environment and enjoys being the operational backbone of a property management team.What you need to succeed You bring exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to stay ahead of key dates, documents, and operational requirements. Confidence working with systems such as Angus and comfort managing multiple contracts, vendor files, and maintenance workflows are critical. Youre proactive, resourceful, and communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners. Experience with lease administration or exposure to commercial property management will help you hit the ground running, along with a natural ability to build strong working relationships across Operations and Leasing.What you get in return Youll join a collaborative property management team where your work directly supports smooth operations and great tenant experiences.
