This firm offers a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment with strong mentorship and exposure to a variety of building projects.Qualifications & SkillsASc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering with a Structural majorRegistered as a P.Eng. or EIT with EGBCStructural design experience in concrete and woodWorking knowledge of the BC Building CodeAbility to accurately read and interpret drawing plans and construction documentationStrong verbal and written communication skillsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare structural designs, calculations, and analysis in accordance with applicable codes and standardsDevelop engineering drawings and documents using computer-assisted design softwareReview drawings, reports, and construction documentation to support project planning and executionConduct field reviews and structural site observationsReview shop drawings, contractor requests, and RFIsCoordinate with internal team members and external project stakeholdersIdeal CandidatePositive, team-oriented, and motivated by technical challengesOrganized and detail-orientedConfident communicatorAble to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical skills within a supportive and dynamic structural consulting team.
