Job SummaryThe Light Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment at the Milo-FAIS facility. This includes cleaning offices, washrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to ensure the health and safety of all employees.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean and disinfect offices, hallways, washrooms, and other common areasWipe and sanitize tables, counters, sinks, and other surfaces in breakrooms and kitchensSweep, mop, and wash floors, and vacuum carpets and rugs where applicableDust furniture, shelving, window sills, and other surfacesEmpty garbage and recycling containers and replace linersRefill washroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)Maintain cleanliness of shared appliances (e.g., microwaves, fridges, sinks)Clean interior windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch surfacesReport maintenance, safety, or supply issues to managementFollow all company health, safety, and sanitation proceduresEducation and Experience RequirementsSecondary school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious cleaning or janitorial experience considered an assetAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyAttention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethicJob ClassificationNOC Code: 65310 Light Duty CleanersJob Category: Office CleanersWorking ConditionsIndoor work environment in offices and common facility areasLight physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting light cleaning suppliesUse of standard cleaning tools and approved cleaning productsMilo-FAIS is an equal opportunity employer.
