Were looking for a Camper Care Coordinator to join Centre Camps leadership team and ensure every camper feels safe, supported, and fully engaged throughout their camp experience.Key Responsibilities:Support the emotional and behavioral well-being of all campers throughout the summerDevelop and implement strategies to manage and prevent behavioral challengesCollaborate with Unit Heads and Counsellors to ensure all campers receive appropriate supportForm camper cabin groupings each session based on age and individual needs, and adjust groupings as requiredPlan and facilitate pre-camp training for staff, providing mentorship and coaching on behavior management and communication strategiesCheck in daily with camper groups and units, proactively offering support to staff and campersMaintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians, providing updates, support, and guidanceDocument camper concerns, incidents, and progress accurately and in accordance with camp policiesIdeal Qualifications:Minimum 3 years working with children or youth in a camp, school, or recreational setting.Post-secondary education in a related field considered an assetProven leadership or supervisory experience in a camp, educational, or childcare environmentExcellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to handle sensitive issues with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.Post-secondary education in a related field considered an assetPerks & Benefits:Free JCC Membership - Access to our fitness centers, classes, and programs.On-site parkingCasual and inclusive workplace cultureReady to Make an Impact?
