This role leads the Category Management Program, collaborates with all ministries, subjectmatter experts and vendor partners to deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies. Your responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to: Oversee demandplanning processes, engaging departments to understand their needs for upcoming and inflight categories and working with leadership to plan accordingly. Lead the implementation of category management for the Category Management Program and Centre of Excellence across various goods and services categories, ensuring consistency, continuous improvement and proactive risk management. Collaborate with colleagues to map the stakeholder landscape for new categories and lead engagement, educating stakeholders on category management roles, responsibilities and collaborative approaches. Leverage business acumen to work with the Reporting and Master Data team in identifying metrics to track program objectives. Provide coaching, direction and bestpractice guidance to team members on tools and techniques for category management. Qualifications Required University graduation (4year) in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field, supplemented by six years of progressively responsible experience. Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a oneforone basis. Equivalencies may be considered: TwoYear Diploma and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience. OneYear Certificate and a minimum of nine (9) years of related experience. No education (High School Diploma) and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
