Camp Counsellor Basketball & Sports Camps (Brampton) Aspire for Higher delivers high-quality, sports-based youth development programs for students in Grades 18. We are currently seeking energetic, responsible, and team-oriented Camp Counsellors to support our Summer Camp programs throughout Brampton from 8:30 AM 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Camp Counsellors play a key role in creating a fun, structured, and safe environment for campers. This position involves assisting with sports instruction, leading activities, supervising participants, and providing excellent customer service to families. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, have a passion for sports, and are looking to build leadership experience in a camp setting. Hourly rate: $17.00-$19.00 per hour depending on experience Currently working toward or completed a Secondary School Diploma, College Diploma, or University Degree Valid Emergency First Aid and CPR B Certification Previous experience working with children (camp, coaching, school, or recreation setting) is an asset Experience playing basketball, soccer, football, or participating in organized sport is an asset Strong communication and teamwork skills Employment offer is conditional upon receipt of a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Job Responsibilities: Support the Camp Coordinator and Head Coach in delivering structured and inclusive daily programming Assist in leading drills, games, and multi-sport activities Supervise campers at all times and ensure adherence to all safety and emergency procedures Provide positive, professional customer service to campers, parents, and volunteers Conduct daily safety checks of equipment and facilities and report any concerns promptly Work both independently and collaboratively within the camp team Perform additional duties as assigned to support camp operations We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
