Description of Duties Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba (MDAM) is a notforprofit organization dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy for those living with mental health illnesses through peer support and other services. MDAM operates throughout Manitoba, supporting individuals, their friends, families, and caregivers affected by mood disorders. One of the services we offer are peer support groups that are facilitated by dedicated volunteers who have lived experience with mood disorders or cooccurring disorders. A facilitator plans, guides, and manages an inperson peer support group for MDAM. The Depression & Anxiety inperson peer support group is held every Thursday from 6:30pm7:30pm.
