Experior Asia is supporting an established and growing international school in Central Asia (Uzbekistan). The school is seeking an experienced and forwardthinking Head of Middle Years to lead and develop its Grades 68 programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong academic leader who is passionate about studentcentred learning, curriculum development and building a cohesive middle school culture within an international environment. Academic Leadership Lead the development and delivery of the Canadian curriculum in the Middle Years Ensure curriculum alignment, assessment consistency and academic rigour Monitor student progress and implement improvement strategies Support teachers with planning, differentiation and classroom practice Promote inquirybased and studentcentred learning approaches Staff Management Line manage middle school teachers Conduct observations, performance reviews and professional development planning Mentor new and developing teachers Foster a collaborative and positive team culture Student & Pastoral Leadership Oversee student wellbeing and behaviour systems Build a strong middle school identity and positive learning culture Engage with parents regarding academic and pastoral matters Support smooth transition between elementary and secondary phases Strategic Development Contribute to wholeschool leadership planning Support enrolment growth and programme development Ensure alignment with international school standards and local regulatory requirements Requirements Essential Requirements Bachelors degree in Education or related field Recognised teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, PGDE, QTS or equivalent) Minimum 5 years teaching experience Previous leadership experience (Head of Department, Coordinator or similar) Experience delivering a Canadian, IB, UK or comparable international curriculum Strong understanding of middle years pedagogy Fluent English speaker Desirable Experience in an international school setting Curriculum leadership experience Experience supporting school growth or accreditation processes Benefits The Package Competitive taxefficient salary Accommodation or housing allowance Annual flights Medical insurance Professional development support Relocation assistance Paid school holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
