Kynetec is actively seeking a Field Technology Architect to join our Global Operations Technology team. Role Purpose The Field Technology Architect plays a critical role in shaping, delivering, and maintaining best-inclass technology solutions across Global Operations. This role supports efficiency, innovation, and standardisation while ensuring the stability and performance of existing operational technologies. Operating remotely with global responsibilities, particularly in Europe and North America, the successful candidate will identify, design, and implement scalable, innovative solutions that enhance respondent engagement across telephone, inperson, and online data collection channels. Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in software development or similar roles, extensive knowledge of VoIP telephony systems , strong frontend development skills, and a solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Key Responsibilities Telephony Expertise: Apply advanced VoIP telephony knowledge, including voice signalling, media protocols, codec behaviour, and NAT traversal. System Integration: Enhance and streamline architecture across new and existing platforms, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with cybersecurity standards. Solution Design: Identify and implement scalable, innovative solutions to optimise respondent engagement across all data collection methods. Operational Efficiency: Improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows in partnership with Global Operations while maintaining service quality. Value Creation: Develop algorithms to analyse panellist engagement trends, improve sample management, and inform efficient fieldwork strategies. Monitor developments in the telephony market and advise leadership on emerging risks and opportunities. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with organisational goals and architectural standards. Required Skills Telephony System: Deep expertise across call routing, predictive dialling, spam filtering, caller ID reputation, STIR/SHAKEN, vendor performance, georouting, telecom compliance, and outreach regulations. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), system security, and integration architecture. ProblemSolving: Ability to assess complex business challenges and design robust, effective solutions. Communication & Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts and lead crossfunctional teams. Business Acumen: Understanding of Kynetecs operational model and industry dynamics to design impactful, scalable solutions.
