Senior Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum of Scrums Location: Toronto (Hybrid/Remote Considered) Contract Length: 6-month contract to start (extendable) Industry: Banking / Financial Services Technology Overview We are seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum of Scrums to support a highly technical banking initiative within a large enterprise financial services environment. This role combines Agile leadership with traditional program and project management discipline , overseeing delivery across multiple engineering teams working on complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading multi-team Agile programs in large banking organizations , managing dependencies across engineering workstreams, and communicating delivery progress to executive stakeholders. This position will play a key role in driving cross-team alignment, execution transparency, and delivery governance within a regulated financial environment. Key Responsibilities Lead Scrum of Scrums ceremonies across multiple Agile delivery teams Drive end-to-end program delivery across cross-functional technical workstreams Partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments Ensure teams follow consistent Agile delivery practices Provide executive-level reporting, roadmap tracking, and milestone updates Support release planning and multi-team deployments Maintain governance standards and project artifacts within a regulated banking environment Must-Have Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Agile delivery, technical program management, or project leadership Experience operating as both a Scrum Master and Project/Program Manager Proven experience leading Scrum of Scrums or multi-team Agile programs Experience working in enterprise banking or financial services environments Strong understanding of SDLC within technical engineering environments Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills Experience managing dependencies across multiple engineering teams Agile certifications such as SAFe or Scrum Strong proficiency with Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Nice-to-Have Qualifications PMP certification Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or modernization programs Experience working in highly regulated financial institutions Familiarity with Kanban delivery frameworks Experience within major banks such as TD, RBC, Scotiabank, JP Morgan, Northern Trust, Citi, or Bank of America
