Our Client: A leading global alternative asset manager is seeking a licensed lawyer with experience in private equity funds and/or alternative asset classes, ideally with exposure to debt-related matters. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, supporting fundraising, fund formation, marketing, and capital management activities, with a focus on open-ended fund products. Key Responsibilities Draft and negotiate fund formation documents, including offering memorandums, LP agreements, subscription documents, and side letters Support bespoke investment vehicle formations and fundraises, including rated products Review investor marketing materials and manage closings of new commitments Collaborate with capital management and portfolio teams on capital-raising and debt platform initiatives Negotiate credit facilities and other debt instruments Manage external counsel on fund formation, fundraising, and debt-related matters Qualifications JD with 7+ years of relevant fund-related experience Background in a major law firm and/or fast-paced corporate environment Licensed in Ontario and/or the U.S. Experience in fundraising, fund formation, marketing, or capital management Debt and credit agreement experience an asset Commercial, solution-oriented mindset and collaborative approach Ref# LI1522
