Our well-established client in Markham, ON, is looking for a Bilingual (French/English) Customer Outreach Specialist to join their company in a permanent role. Responsibilities: Handle Incoming Cancellation Calls and perform Outbound call activities for past due policies Handle direct returning incoming calls because of outbound activities. Follow up on customer issues regarding claims, billing or other service concerns. Assist customers in redrafting payments to existing accounts, setting up new account information, or collecting needed premium via credit card. Cross sell over the phone. Process routine requests for service items. Miscellaneous department activities as needed. Requirements: Fluent in both English and French . Post Secondary Education and/or minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a professional setting. Licensed in Accident & Sickness, and Life Insurance: LLQP Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks, including engaging with customers while completing paperwork and updating systems. Outgoing personality with a talent for fostering engaging conversations. Demonstrated understanding of sales principles and business operations. Proficient in active listening and adept at identifying and resolving issues effectively. Previous contact center experience required. Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). This position will require successful candidates to work 8-hour shifts between 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday . Flexible Scheduling: Adjustments to the work schedule may be necessary based on business demands. Perks: Work onsite Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week.
