Job Summary The Light Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment at the Milo-FAIS facility. This includes cleaning offices, washrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to ensure the health and safety of all employees. Main Duties and Responsibilities Clean and disinfect offices, hallways, washrooms, and other common areas Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, sinks, and other surfaces in breakrooms and kitchens Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and vacuum carpets and rugs where applicable Dust furniture, shelving, window sills, and other surfaces Empty garbage and recycling containers and replace liners Refill washroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) Maintain cleanliness of shared appliances (e.g., microwaves, fridges, sinks) Clean interior windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch surfaces Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation procedures Education and Experience Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cleaning or janitorial experience considered an asset Ability to follow instructions and work independently Attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic Job Classification NOC Code: 65310 Light Duty Cleaners Job Category: Office Cleaners Working Conditions Indoor work environment in offices and common facility areas Light physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting light cleaning supplies Use of standard cleaning tools and approved cleaning products Milo-FAIS is an equal opportunity employer.
