French Translator / Copy Editor Starts: March Duration: 4 months, with the possibility of an extension Approx. 37 hrs/week Fully Remote (must live in the province of Ontario) Rate: $28-33/hr (T4) Position Overview Our professional services client is looking for a French Translator / Copy Editor to join their team over the next 4 months, starting in March. This role is fully remote and approx. 37 hrs/week. Key Responsibilities: - Bilingual French English translator with strong copy editing skills for clarity, tone, and accuracy. - Supports a wide range of business functions, including IT, HR, Finance, and leadership communications. - Translates and edits content for integration initiatives, ensuring consistency across teams and systems. - Adapts messaging for diverse audiences while maintaining brand voice and organizational standards. - Collaborates with cross functional partners to deliver timely, high quality translated materials. Qualifications: - 3+ years experience working in a dedicated Translation and/or Copy Editor role. - Fluency in French Canadian and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Strong knowledge of the French Canadian culture and communication styles. - Experience in writing, proofreading, translating, and editing communications materials is preferred. - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines, with an ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
