Your new company You will be joining a wellestablished environmental consulting and water technology organization with more than 50 years of experience supporting mining, industrial, government, and commercial clients across Canada. The company operates multiple offices, manufacturing facilities, and a national team of technical experts. They focus on delivering sustainable solutions to complex hydrogeological, environmental, and waterrelated challenges, supported by a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and technical excellence. This position is part of an existing vacancy within their growing mining and hydrogeology practice. Your new role As a Senior Hydrogeologist/Engineer specializing in mining, you will serve as both a senior technical authority and a market leader supporting the expansion of miningsector work across Ontario and Quebec. You will manage a portfolio of clients, lead complex hydrogeological and environmental projects, and oversee multidisciplinary teams. Your daytoday responsibilities will include planning and executing field programs, directing drilling and monitoring well installation, completing groundwater and surface water investigations, leading Phase I and II ESAs, conducting remediation work, and developing conceptual site models. You will also be responsible for preparing and approving highquality technical reports, managing budgets and schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development through proposal writing and client engagement. This is a fulltime, permanent role based in Sudbury, with regional and occasional national travel.
