Senior Procurement Manager IT Infrastructure (6-month contract) Downtown Toronto (hybrid 3 - 4 days in office per week) $75 $90 per hour Our client, a large Canadian business, is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Procurement IT Infrastructure. This 6-month contract is focused on the end-to-end procurement of complex infrastructure solutions to support their global operations. This position is centred on negotiating of high-value agreements for hardware, data centers, and cloud infrastructure. You will need to manage complex deal structures and be able to present options to executive leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead Complex Infrastructure Sourcing: Manage the full procurement lifecycle for global IT infrastructure, ensuring all hardware and services align with long-term technical and commercial roadmaps. Advanced Commercial Negotiations: Act as the lead negotiator for complex deals, leveraging top-tier commercial acumen to drive favourable pricing, scalability, and performance terms. Master Contractual Frameworks: Execute deep-dive redlining and negotiation of contract language, ensuring airtight protections regarding service levels, liability, and multi-year commitments. Executive Stakeholder Management: Prepare and deliver sophisticated presentations to senior leadership, distilling complex deal structures into clear, strategic recommendations for approval. Mitigate Infrastructure Risk: Partner with Legal and Cyber Security to identify and address risks inherent in physical and cloud infrastructure, including business continuity and data residency. About You: IT Category Expert: You possess extensive end-to-end experience specifically within IT Infrastructure procurement and have a deep understanding of the global vendor landscape. Strategic Lead Negotiator: A proven track record of leading high-pressure commercial negotiations for multi-million dollar deals where financial and operational stakes are high. Technically & Legally Fluent: Exceptional grasp of contract law and language; you are comfortable owning the negotiation of complex legal clauses and commercial terms independently. Senior Influence: Highly experienced in presenting to and influencing C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, with the ability to articulate the value of complex infrastructure investments.
