As the campus continues to mature, there is a growing emphasis on disciplined capital planning, infrastructure lifecycle management, and thoughtful operational leadership. Against this backdrop, the school is seeking a Director of Facilities & Campus Operations to provide leadership for the campuss physical environment. This role will play an important part in ensuring the campus continues to operate efficiently today while also contributing to the long-term vision for its evolution in the years ahead. Your New Role The Director of Facilities & Campus Operations will oversee the management, maintenance, and long-term planning of the schools campus environment. The role is responsible for ensuring that all buildings, infrastructure systems, and external spaces are maintained to a high standard and operate safely and efficiently in support of the schools daily activities. Working closely with senior leadership, the Director will help guide the implementation of a long-term capital framework that addresses building lifecycle planning, infrastructure renewal, and future campus needs. The position requires an individual who can think strategically about the long-term evolution of the campus while also maintaining a strong operational focus on day-to-day facilities performance. The Director will oversee key service relationships across the campus, including food services, custodial services, and various trade partners. In addition to managing these relationships, the role will help strengthen vendor governance and procurement practices to ensure strong operational discipline and responsible cost management. Security and risk management are also important aspects of the position. The Director will work with leadership to ensure that campus safety protocols remain appropriate for a modern school environment while maintaining the welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere that defines the institution. The role also requires strong collaboration across the school community. The Director will work regularly with faculty, administrators, and service partners to ensure that the campus environment supports the educational experience and daily life of students and staff. What Sets You Apart The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of facilities operations, infrastructure systems, and building lifecycle management within complex environments. They will have experience overseeing maintenance programs, capital upgrades, and vendor relationships, along with a sound understanding of budgeting and cost management. Equally important is the ability to operate in a collaborative, community-oriented environment. The Director must be comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership, faculty members, external service providers, and members of the school community. The role requires strong interpersonal judgment, professionalism, and the ability to build trust across the organization. Candidates may come from a variety of sectors in which complex facility environments are managed, including education, healthcare, commercial real estate, hospitality, and other institutional settings. What matters most is the ability to combine technical expertise in facilities with thoughtful leadership and sound operational judgment. The role offers a target base salary up to $160,000.
