The Role The Research Analyst supports clients across the product life cycle by delivering clear market insights and strategic analysis. The role identifies global opportunities, informs international marketing decisions, deepens understanding of agricultural customers and stakeholders, and guides effective product launches. Through continuous market and brand monitoring, the analyst helps clients make informed decisions and strengthen their competitive position. Responsibilities Research Design & Proposal Development: Supports in collecting information for proposal writing, support in adapting/preparing proposal documents Conducts secondary research Learns how to develop survey designs/analysis designs/project reports, adapts existing questionnaires/topic guides or creates drafts/standard questionnaires/topic guides Project Execution: Supporting international project coordination - that means coordination with internal service units (DP, colleagues from other countries) as well as agencies Translation and programming checks, filtering, continuous field work coordination, prepare instructions for DP and agencies Supports in defining report structure Quality checks of data Understands basic interviewing principles and practices Learns to conduct simple interviewing on non-sensitive issues Transcribes interviews Analysis & Reporting: Learns how to populate reports - creates graphic presentation of data, creates and modifies excel spreadsheets Supports in translating client briefings into analysis design/data cuts Under supervision: looking for trends in data and preparing graphic reports with solid commentary and analytical insights, conducts basic analysis Requirements You are passionate about market research/problem solving You have an interest in animals, plants or food production in general You would love to work in an international business environment You have a pragmatic and analytical mindset Advanced project management skills Advanced in MS Office Advanced analytical skills Basic presentation skills Advanced communication skills
