For more information about our company, visit Adamson Systems Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specialised in Mechatronics/Electronics Product Assembly to support and optimize manufacturing processes. This role focuses on automation, robotics, mechatronics integration, and electronics final product assembly , ensuring efficient, repeatable, and scalable manufacturing systems. The Manufacturing Engineer will work cross-functionally with Production, Design Engineering, and Quality to improve throughput, reduce defects, and implement automation solutions that support high-performance manufacturing. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on solving complex production challenges and building robust processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Process Development & Optimization Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for powered palletized product assembly and electronics final product assembly Develop standardized work instructions and process documentation Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues 2. Automation, Robotics & Mechatronics Design and implement automation solutions to improve product line development and palletized product assembly Develop and integrate cartesian robotics , sensors, vision systems, and PLC-controlled equipment where applicable Support programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems Collaborate with maintenance and external vendors on equipment upgrades Evaluate and deploy new technologies to modernize manufacturing 3. Electronics Product Assembly Support Optimize electronics assembly workflows including SMT and pin through-hole assembly Improve fixture design, PCB handling, and assembly tooling Support electronics testing and validation processes Assist in equipment selection, commissioning, and validation 4. Production Support & Troubleshooting Provide daily engineering support to production teams Resolve technical issues affecting output or quality Develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve repeatability Reduce downtime through process improvements Participate in continuous improvement initiatives 5.
