Structural Designer Drafter (Intermediate Level) Position Type: Full-Time Salary Range: CAD $85,000 $125,000 Location: Burnaby, BC Start Date: Immediate Job Overview Im working with a client who is looking to add an engaged and enthusiastic Structural Designer Drafter at the intermediate level to their team. This role will support a range of maritime, industrial, and transportation infrastructure projects , working with a comprehensive suite of drafting and GIS tools, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, and ArcGIS. The position offers a chance to apply your drafting skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior engineers and drafting managers to design and document structural and civil works. Produce accurate drawings and complete drawing packages for feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction. Assist with quantity take-offs to support cost estimating. Utilize ArcGIS and related applications to support engineering and advisory projects. Qualifications Diploma or certificate in drafting, design technology, or related field from a recognized technical institution. 5+ years of experience in structural or civil drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering drafting workflows. Ability to work onsite at the Burnaby office. Nice-to-Haves Experience with Civil3D , Revit , and ArcGIS . Exposure to 3D structural software and cloud-based drafting workflows. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Client-facing or interpersonal experience. Why This Opportunity?
