Role and Facility Information The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to work full time or part time in Nanaimo. Practice Sites Nanaimo Regional Hospital West Coast General Hospital Tofino General Hospital Oceanside Urgent Care Private imaging office Core Responsibilities Applicants will provide all facets of medical imaging services, including minor interventional procedures, breast imaging and screening, as required. Qualifications & Experience Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology. Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. Preference for candidates with subspecialty training or significant clinical experience. Experience with breast imaging, including screening, is an asset. Comfortable with minor interventional procedures. Will consider a variety of specialty interests/training.
