We are partnering with a well-established, multi-entity manufacturing organization to identify a Procurement Manager who will lead and elevate purchasing operations across a diverse portfolio of raw materials, packaging, and critical services. This is a highly strategic role with significant visibility and influence. Reporting to a National Purchasing Director, you will drive procurement strategy at the business unit level while strengthening supplier partnerships, optimizing costs, and safeguarding supply continuity in a dynamic, market-sensitive environment. (This is primarily an in-office role with some potential flexibility for hybrid upon approval) Why This Role? Leadership responsibility while being a hands-on contributor The Opportunity You will oversee an annual procurement budget of approximately $80-100M, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities while delivering measurable value across quality, cost, availability, compliance, and sustainability. This position plays a key role in building synergies across business units and partnering closely with senior leadership to anticipate risk, navigate commodity trends, and secure competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities Strategic Procurement Implement and localize group purchasing strategies at the business unit level Develop responsible sourcing initiatives in partnership with CSR stakeholders Build, manage, and optimize a substantial procurement budget Align procurement decisions with senior leadership objectives Supplier & Portfolio Management Lead and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers Drive competitive tenders and high-value negotiations across materials, packaging, energy, and services Maintain proactive supply risk mapping and mitigation plans Monitor commodity and energy markets to anticipate trends and secure supply Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with R&D on sourcing and onboarding new materials Work closely with Quality on supplier evaluation and non-conformance management Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Production to ensure procurement supports broader business priorities Contracting & Compliance Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards Oversee procurement-related audits and documentation processes Team Leadership Lead and develop a strategic sourcing professional Set clear objectives, provide coaching and feedback Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture What You Bring Experience & Education Relevant education in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field 5+ years of procurement experience, including exposure to raw material markets Leadership capability and/or experience Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cross-border collaboration Technical Strength Strong command of procurement strategy and supplier performance management Expertise in market analysis, pricing structures, cost breakdowns, and value analysis Experience leading tender processes Familiarity with futures markets or hedging tools is a plus ERP proficiency and strong command of Microsoft tools Professional-level English (written and spoken) Core Competencies Strategic thinker with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities Confident negotiator with excellent communication skills Resilient and adaptable in complex, fast-moving environments Collaborative leader who builds strong cross-functional partnerships Curious, persistent, and solution-oriented This is an immediate opening and interviews are taking place right away! ------------------ ABOUT US: TPD is a leading workforce solutions provider with a mission to help individuals succeed by providing access to opportunities in jobs, careers, and professional development.
