Asset Protection Investigator Location: Vaughan Mills The Asset Protection Investigator plays a critical role in reducing shrink, ensuring compliance, and strengthening our culture of safety. This role focuses on external investigations, building partnerships across stores, and supporting awareness programs that protect our people, product, and brand. The position reports to a Regional Asset Protection Manager. Enjoy a strong total rewards package What Youll Do Investigations & Case Management Detect, investigate, and safely apprehend shoplifters in alignment with VS&Co policies. Assist in external investigations and case building as directed. Prepare, maintain, and secure reports, evidence, and records per company and legal standards. Review reporting data to identify external theft patterns. Submit thorough, well-documented cases and testify in court proceedings when required. Partnership & Collaboration Support processes to minimize losses. Partner with store management on asset protection issues. Build strong working relationships with management teams, law enforcement, and industry peers. Operations & Flexibility Support company values, policies, and applicable laws. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred. 2+ years of asset protection experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with excellent follow-up abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Auror, & CCTV. Must possess a valid Security Guard/Worker Licence issued by the applicable provincial regulatory authority in Canada (or be eligible to obtain one prior to start date).
