Deck Construction Crew Leader Jonathan Robert Landscapes Ottawa Jonathan Robert Landscapes specializes in high-end residential outdoor living spaces , including custom decks, pool cabanas, pavilions, and outdoor structures. We are looking for an experienced Deck Construction Crew Leader to join our team and lead the construction of premium outdoor carpentry projects. What Youll Do Lead the construction of outdoor carpentry projects including: Composite decks Cedar decks Pool cabanas Pavilions Gazebos Fences and outdoor structures Lead and coordinate the daily work of a small carpentry crew Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and construction plans Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high quality standards Operate carpentry tools and equipment safely Maintain organization and cleanliness of job sites, trucks, trailers, and equipment Maintain site material inventory and coordinate deliveries Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner Assist with preparing drawings and documentation for building permits What Were Looking For 5+ years experience in carpentry construction Strong experience building decks and outdoor structures Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Experience leading or coordinating a small crew Strong work ethic and positive attitude Good organizational and time management skills Valid Drivers License Clean driving record Ability to communicate effectively in English What We Offer Competitive pay: $32 $42 per hour (based on experience) Performance incentive program Full-time, permanent position Opportunity to work on high-end residential outdoor projects Supportive team environment Benefits including: Extended health care Dental care Company events Profit sharing Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment Strong physical stamina required Jonathan Robert Landscapes
