Job Description

Overview Role: Weblogic SOA Tuxedo MQ Location: Brampton, ON Duration: 6+ Months BGV will be done for the selected candidates. Responsibilities - Provide timely and accurate on-call support for production infrastructure components during non-business hours and weekends - Provide training or mentoring to other team members on tools or architecture concepts as needed - Complete Administration of Oracle Tuxedo Application Server - Install, configure, implement, upgrade and migrate Oracle Tuxedo Application Server - Familiar with Jolt, Weblogic Tuxedo Connector (WTC), Tuxedo LDOM and RDOM configurations, Workstation Listener (WSL) and Workstation Handler (WSH) - Familiar with Weblogic Architecture to facilitate Weblogic Tuxedo Connector (WTC) - Develop project plans and work breakdown structures - Knowledge of Web & Application Tier, Backup & Recovery procedures - Familiarity with SDLC and/or other systems development methodologies - Provide constant updates with project status, issues and risks on a timely basis - Exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution - Work with internal service groups to ensure system availability matches agreed SLAs - Understand handling of critical applications in production down situations - Collaborate with peers within/beyond M/W team to define and characterize technology/processes - Develop white papers, proposals, deliverables and SOP documents - Experience with ITSM tools such as CA Service Desk or Remedy - Troubleshoot and resolve L3 level Tuxedo issues across Development / Testing / Production / DR environments - Sound knowledge of other Middleware Administration Components (Application Server, Web Server, Database Server, etc.) - Coordinate with Oracle Global support for resolving urgent issues including logging and tracking - Analyze monitoring results to improve operational efficiency of Tuxedo components IBM MQ / Middleware - Comfortable with IBM MQ administration - Work on middleware infrastructure design & architecture including clustering & scalability - Excellent troubleshooting of production MQ issues - Strong experience in designing Message Flows and Message Sets - Thorough knowledge of IBM MQ and Message Broker - Coordinate with L3/Development on identified technical errors - Strong knowledge of WebSphere MQ concepts, IBM MQ and MQ Clustering - Strong knowledge of EAI and SOA design patterns and overall SOA architecture - Design and develop reusable components for SOA implementations - Support/Guide teams in creation of reusable assets, frameworks, solution packs - M/W support with expertise in IBM WebSphere MQ and Message Broker - Hands-on installation/configuration of MQ series on Windows/UNIX - Strong knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker and broker architecture - Responsible for configuration/management of Broker registries and execution group monitoring - Architected SOA solutions using WebSphere Message Broker or similar in large integration projects - Experience/knowledge in WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Integration Developer is beneficial - Sound knowledge in WebSphere MQ v6.0/v7.0/v7.5 installation/configuration/administration on Windows & Unix Good To Have - ITIL / PMP Certification - Ability to technically lead the team from the front - Ability to mentor other team members in areas of technical expertise - Oracle Certification in MQ / SOA / Weblogic / Tuxedo - Active participation in client meetings/presentations - Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients confidently - Understanding of system development methodologies, techniques and tools Application Instructions Please respond with your word resume and requested details: - Full Name - Work Authorization - Contact Number - Email ID - Skype ID - Current location - Willing to relocate - Rate/hr Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
