We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team! JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Vice President, the Contract Administrator manages subcontractor construction contracts, with respect to financial aspects, contract requirements, and expediting payment. They are also responsible to resolve issues affecting non-payment of invoices in accounts receivable which require negotiation with the customer, and report accounts receivable status to management. RESPONSIBILITIES - Review subcontract documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements and invoicing terms. - Manage and monitor the submission of all required contract documentation, including Form 1000, WSIB Certificates, Certificates of Insurance, Statutory Declarations and other project specific documentation. - Oversee project invoicing processes, monthly progress certificates and track payment collections in coordination with both OBW and client project team. - Communicate with the OBW project team to support timely and accurate processing of project payments. - Participate in negotiations to resolve project-related disputes with the clients project team. - Escalate complex dispute resolution and project reconciliation issues to the OBW team as needed. - Support the negotiation and resolution of challenging accounts receivable (A/R) collections related to subcontracts. - Prepare and deliver regular A/R status reports related to subcontracts to the financial management team. - Provide general support as required, including responding to inquiries, scheduling, and basic reception duties. - Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS (OR KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES) - Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting/Finance, Project Management, or CET - Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Strong client negotiation and conflicts resolution abilities - Knowledge of construction contracts, CCDC Documents and the Canadian Construction Lien act considered an asset - Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data entry systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
