About This Opportunity Our pork processing plant in Brandon is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic individual to join the Canada Packers family. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment. Perform repairs to processing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical systems. Perform repairs to building mechanical systems. Troubleshoot and problemsolve. Use of computerized maintenance management system. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday 6:00am 6:00pm, and Monday and Tuesday 6:00am 2:30pm. Physical Demands Environmental work conditions can range from cool to hot and wet. Will be required to work outdoors in all seasons. Skills & Experience Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate is required. Minimum two years of experience as a Millwright, preferably in a food production facility. The experience must have been within the last five years. Basic computer skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Highly motivated able to work well with minimal supervision. What We Offer Valuesbased culture.
