Our client in the financial services has experienced significant growth and has 2 openings for a Senior Quality Assurance Consultant for a 6 month contract. This candidate will have extensive experience working in a testing function and be prepared to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. The Senior Quality Assurance Consultant will help in the testing efforts of new project initiatives as well as small enhancements to our existing applications and programs Qualifications - Exceptional communication and documentation skills. - Strong Retirement Plan Services knowledge .401k Product knowledge highly preferred. - Ability to mentor Jr. QAs. - Strong Mainframe knowledge of on-line applications (DB2) - UAT testing experience in both Mainframe and E-commerce environments preferred. (core competency will be with Mainframe) - Understanding and experience in Software Development and Testing Life Cycles - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to work and produce documented results; - Ability to work effectively in a team environment; - Experience in a formal Software Process Improvement or Software Quality (process) Assurance initiative - To determine root causes of defects and deficiencies, whether in the life cycle activities or in the use of the applications. - 6 - 10 years testing experience - Manual Testing - JCL batch knowledge - Experience with Test Director or Quality Centre #J-18808-Ljbffr
