Heavy Equipment Technician - Lead hand Nors Group We are a growing business with over 90 years of legacy across seven countries, offering opportunities for highly skilled technicians to join our Service team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Responsibilities As our Lead Hand (shop and field), youll play an important role in helping the Service Manager with daytoday planning, organization, and workflow. Youll take on major diagnostics and repairs, be handson with daily shop repairs, provide highquality leadership and service, and help develop and coach apprentices. Qualifications Certified as a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician. Strong diagnostic and repair experience across a wide variety of heavy equipment from various manufacturers. Safety minded insist your team follows all safety programs and procedures. Leadership ability develop a rapport of trust and a fair, levelheaded style that encourages open communication. Ability to stay calm under pressure, maintain communication, and provide quality service. Comfortable with heavy lifting, fast pace, long hours and overtime, and takes time for vacation as needed. Mentorship experience analyze apprentice competence and provide onthejob training. Highly organized with personal systems for managing work and coordinating the tech team.
