Job Title

Description: - Contribute as part of a team, responsible for delivering business intelligence capabilities to support internal and external department stakeholders information needs. - Deliver work products based on various sets of data including (but not limited to) education, post-secondary education, apprenticeship, finance and census data. - Work with a selection of technology products (such as SAP, Power BI) that must address the ever changing technology and increasing appetite for information from internal and external department stakeholders. - Must be able to work effectively with a team made up of in-house staff and contract resources. - Analyze data and prepare information results. - Gather and document requirements. - Design and construct information products. - Capture business and technical metadata for information products. - Gather requirements for control processes including schedule management, status reporting, issues, risk, and change management at the program level. - Produce deliverables within specified quality standards and timeline. - Define and performing quality assurance on business intelligence deliverables. - Respond to ad-hoc information inquiries. - Perform data analysis, data quality audits/reviews, statistical analysis and data mining. - Escalate issues and risks, as appropriate. - Work within a multi-vendor/staff environment - Experience with articulating and translating technical language for non-technical customers both verbally and in writing. - Experience with presenting data in queries, dashboards, and reports in a way that is easy to understand. - Direct handson experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions that transform regulated and complex datasets into actionable insights for policy, operations and executive reporting - Experience planning, conducting, and analyzing findings from, creating representations of, and reporting on codesign workshops with service users. #J-18808-Ljbffr
