Position Summary Provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, disability management, training, and/or employee records. Plays a crucial part in facilitating communication between employees and management, addressing HR-related inquiries, and supporting HR initiatives to ensure a positive and compliant work environment. Schedule: 40 hours Monday to Friday What You Will Do - Process leaves of absence accurately and in a timely manner. - Prepare employment-related correspondence, such as resignation letters and job abandonment notifications. - Generate and provide client-requested reports. - Respond to inquiries from client groups promptly and professionally. - Onboard drivers and assist with orientation. - Oversee and coordinate the employee uniform program. - Monitor, track, and report employee attendance using an HRIS platform. - Provide administrative and operational support across a range of human resource functions. What Youll Bring - 1 year of experience in HR or a related administrative role. - Bachelors degree or College diploma in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Transportation industry experience is an asset. - Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR software is a plus. - Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
