Description du poste Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guard in Nova Scotia. Title: Security Guard Location: Eastern Passage, NS Payrate: $16.50 per hour. Schedule: Monday through FridayHours: 3:00PM - 11:00PM (Afternoon - Evening shift) Overview: Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards to oversee security operations at our NS sites. The ideal candidate is a seasoned guard with excellent communication skills, willing to work the mentioned shift, and able to manage the job requirements. If you have experience as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, is swift in computers and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you. Requirement: - Six months of experience in a guard role in security. - Valid drivers license required. - Open shift availability. - Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites. - Must have a valid Ontario Security License. - Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week. - First Aid and CPR - Must be at least 18 years old. - High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience - Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms. Responsibilities: - Efficient with computers, ensuring effective patrolling and site security. - Responds to Emergency Situations such as fires, Chemical Spills, Medical Emergencies, Phone Threats, answers alarms and investigate disturbances. - Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premises. - Completes monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned. - Communicate with stakeholders, including site management, in a professional manner. - Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently. - Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards.
