Momentum Health is presently seeking an enthusiastic Part-Time Medical Office Administrator to join our dynamic team and work in a busy environment at our Westbrook location in Calgary, AB. Our Medical Office Administrators provide outstanding administrative support to patients and co-workers and keep the focus on patient-centered care. Momentum Health empowers patients through the delivery of collaborative healthcare. Join us as we guide Albertans through evidence-informed multidisciplinary care (including Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, Physiatry and Sport Medicine). Our multidisciplinary clinic has multiple private rooms, a dedicated gym area and an open rehab space. We have a large referral base from family medicine and allied health professionals throughout Central Calgary and always are working on new partnerships. The clinic offers innovative programs such as GLA:D Back, GLA:D Hip & Knee as well as collaborative care with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and other disciplines all in-house! Exceptional patient service, collaborative care and continued growth and improvement are highly valued at Momentum Health. We are presently seeking Part-Time enthusiastic Medical Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. Compensation: $17-$19/hour Qualifications: - High school diploma - Current enrollment or graduation from a college diploma program in a related field (asset) - Experience in a medical office environment (asset) - Experience with medical billing systems such as MedAccess, Practice Perfect, and Wolf (asset) - Alberta Health Care billing knowledge/experience (asset) - Ability to commit to a oneyear term - Please do not apply if you do not have medical/rehab office experience or are not serious about a career change Responsibilities: - Ensure efficient, professional, and organized operation of the clinic - Greet patients, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner - Coordinate client flow and information across multidisciplinary teams - Initiate, organize, and maintain patient files and assist with appointment scheduling - Perform rehabilitation administrative duties, including scanning, faxing, processing faxes, and uploading documents to the EMR - Train for physician administrative coverage as required - Manage incoming and outgoing referral processes - Handle all front desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm - Manage thirdparty, MVA, WCB, AHS, and private billing and collections - Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality in accordance with the Health Information Act - Adhere to all Momentum Health policies and procedures Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Advanced computer proficiency - Positive, energetic, and passionate about working with others - Strong team collaboration skills and commitment to a positive work environment - Exceptional communication with patients and team members - Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage changing priorities - Commitment to delivering an excellent patient experience - Hardworking multitasker with exceptional attention to detail - Strong work ethic, selfmotivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Benefits: - Mentorship opportunities - Two annual organizational events plus individual clinic events #J-18808-Ljbffr
