Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: We are currently looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Coordinator, to join our Food & Beverage Department on a permanent basis, with an immediate start to join us in consistently delivering memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other. As a Food & Beverage Coordinator, your main duties and expectations for the role will include: - Provide a courteous and cooperative service to clients and other departments at all times. - Deal with all enquiries promptly and efficiently within an 8working hour response time, or the designated time span. - Assist with quotes on all group and incentive related enquiries and be responsible for converting business within the parameters set by the Food & Beverage team. - Continuously strive to achieve maximum reservation accuracy to ensure a worldclass guest experience and accurate tracking of the business. You will find us very centrally located and within walking distance from several tube stations. - Southwark tube station 5minute walk - Blackfriars tube station 5minute walk - Waterloo Station 13minute walk - London Bridge tube station 15minute walk Role in our Family As a Food & Beverage Coordinator, key responsibilities to your role are: - Actively promote all food and beverage outlets to increase group bookings and overall visibility. - Coordinate all group booking diary with the HOD and the events team. - Manage group bookings for the outlets with clients from the introduction to the billing phase. - Manage the Director of F&B's calendar, scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, taking meeting notes and providing general administrative assistance when needed. - Ensure that all menus for the hotel's F&B outlets are consistently updated and aligned with current offerings. - Monitor and respond to guest feedback received via generic emails, investigating and resolving any concerns efficiently. - Handle guest correspondence not related to daytoday operations, ensuring a professional and timely response. - Provide support during highvolume events by working as a host or hostess to ensure seamless service. - Assist with floor operations when required, ensuring the guest experience meets the hotel's standards. - Monitor the SAEKER compliance system, ensuring the F&B department adheres to all health and safety regulations. - Prepare Daily F&B Revenue report with data provided. - Assist with adhoc reporting requests from the Director of F&B and management team. - Manage the inventory of office supplies and collateral for the F&B department. - Process purchase orders (POs) using the Procure Wizard system and track monthly accruals. - Maintain high levels of communication within the F&B department, ensuring clear and efficient collaboration among teams. - Organise and coordinate weekly meetings, preparing agendas, tracking action items, and distributing meeting minutes. - Actively participate in the hotel's Blue Energy Committee, contributing to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and service excellence. - Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the F&B Management team or Director of F&B. - Manage and track monthly floor walks.
