Overview We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, capable of managing financials, driving business development, and ensuring the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will possess a background in accounting, corporate finance, or financial services. Responsibilities - Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. - Oversee all financial operations, including bookkeeping, forecasting, account reconciliation, tax strategy, payroll and metrics. - Provide strategic guidance on business development initiatives to enhance revenue growth. - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards while maintaining accurate financial records. - Prepare and present financial reports for the director. Qualifications - Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance. - Previous experience with a mental health group practice an asset. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively. - Proficiency in budgeting processes and account reconciliation techniques. - Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail. - Ability to work remotely.
