A Memory Caf is a safe, inclusive and welcoming space. People living with any stage of Alzheimers disease or another form of dementia, their care partners, and their community come together in a stigma-free environment to socialize, learn, and have fun. A Memory Caf is typically a two-hour program that offers opportunities for learning, connections, and joy. A Memory Caf often includes guest speakers or performers, fun activities, and snacks. The Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick is working to offer Memory Cafs throughout New Brunswick. - Location: Saint John - 221 Ellerdale Street, Loch Lomond Villa Wellness Centre - Starting Immediately - 3-6 hours/month - 4 Spots Available of 4 - Suitable For: All Ages Dates and Times Memory Caf Committee Members commit 4-5 hours per month to prepare for, deliver, and follow up on their program. Memory Cafs are held from September to June. Volunteers should commit to facilitating a minimum of three consecutive programs.
