Our team includes folks who are skilled in science, cultural heritage, planning, and regulatory fields who work alongside First Nation, Mtis, and Inuit Nations across Canada. We support Indigenous Nations with technical guidance, regulatory advice, peer reviews, planning, and negotiation strategies related to major resource development projects. The Position Were looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (Remote) to fill a fulltime permanent position. Requirements - CHRP or CHRL Designation, or a degree in Labour Relations or similar. - 5+ years of experience in HR. - Experience working with Indigenousled or communityfocused organizations is an asset. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent timemanagement skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities. - Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment. - Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including health & safety, employee relations, diversity & inclusion and performance management. - Strong experience with cloudbased tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Dropbox, project management software, etc.). Responsibilities - Partner with leaders to identify workforce challenges and develop practical action plans aligned with strategic change. - Coach supervisors and managers on peopleleadership skills, conflict resolution strategies, accountability and documentation in accordance with company policy and applicable legislation. - Support complex employee relations matters, including factfinding, documentation, and resolution planning. - Ensure compliance with Employment Standards, Human Rights, OHSA, and other applicable legislation. - Guide leaders through workplace accommodation processes and ensure followthrough on agreed adjustments. - Oversee functions such as recruitment and engagement, employee relations, accommodation and returntowork programs, training and development. - Manage onboarding and exit procedures and ensure smooth transitions. - Continuously stay up to date on HR policies, procedures, best practices, technical infrastructure, as well as company products and services in order to provide quality HR support. - Review, develop and support with rollout of company policies, programs and initiatives with a focus on usability, compliance and cultural safety. - Monitor organizational climate indicators and elevate risks or trends requiring leadership intervention. - Support realignment initiatives by mapping impacts, drafting transition plans, and coordinating communication. - Facilitate goalsetting and performance coaching tied to organizational priorities. - Build trust with employees and leaders by providing accessible, consistent, and grounded HR support.
