Oversees daily dispatch, driver scheduling, hoursofservice compliance, equipment utilization, and costefficient delivery while ensuring safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Acts as a key liaison with drivers, customer service, maintenance providers, and transportation leadership. Day to Day Plan and execute daily truck dispatch; maximize efficient routing, loading, and haulback opportunities. Monitor driver logs, hours of service, CVOR compliance, and address violations. Support driver safety, training, onboarding, coaching, and performance management. Coordinate fleet maintenance, inspections, service scheduling, and adherence to transportation policies. Manage driver scheduling, payroll, and afterhours oncall support. Use Omnitracs for GPS tracking, reporting, communication, and developing KPIs. Ensure adherence to biosecurity protocols, feed delivery requirements, and emergency response procedures. Conduct audits (gap, garage, ridealongs) and maintain centralized records for insurance, maintenance, accidents, and logs. Oversee equipment purchasing, cost tracking, and annual licensing requirements. Lead transportation policy standardization and support accident investigation and prevention. Required Qualifications College diploma in transportation/logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent experience. Experience driving trucks and transportationspecific Health & Safety training Ability to participate in an oncall rotation for afterhours delivery or customerservice needs Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Strong analytical skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute effectively in a fastpaced environment. Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office.
