We operate in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are essential. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and support both our financial and operational workflows. This role goes beyond standard accounts payableideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, problem-solving, and taking ownership. Youll manage vendor accounts, process payroll, perform reconciliations, and handle office management duties. This is a hands-on, in-office role that requires strong communication skills, comfort with technology, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Job Costing Process vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, manage approvals, and track costs against work orders. AP/AR Process and record AP and AR, vendor bills and customer payments. General Accounting Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and process month-end close. Bank & Expense Reconciliations Perform daily bank reconciliations, manage credit card and expense reporting. Invoicing Prepare and issue customer invoices, coordinating with production and shipping to ensure accuracy. Shipment & Logistics Prepare packing slips and shipment documentation for customer orders. Customs Brokerage Liaise with customs brokers for both import and export shipments. Office Support Maintain supplies, assist with filing and scanning, help coordinate meetings and occasional company events. What Were Looking For 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and BC sales taxes. Strong skills in Excel and general MS Office; must have experience with Sage 50 Pro. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skillsable to work with vendors, staff, and management. A problem solver who takes ownership and thrives in a collaborative environment.
