Job Description

Overview Reporting to the Admissions Office Branch, the incumbent is the resource person and one of the first points of contact between LaSalle College and its potential students. Its main role is to guide and advise prospective students in the process of their selection and enrollment in one of our study programs. Location LaSalle College Montral Campus Status Permanent, full-time (39 hours/week) Work Schedule Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Salary $21/hr + Bonus Program Responsibilities Act as an advisor to candidates who wish to enroll in one of our programs of study; Achieve the set objectives in terms of student recruitment; Inform prospective students by phone, email or in person about the programs offered at LaSalle College; Carry out reminders and follow up with students to facilitate their registration and enter the details and data collected in our customer relationship management (CRM) system; Exercise their role as an advisor during school visits, open houses, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc.; Promote and become ambassadors of our programs to our students; Ensure, in collaboration with program managers, the complete evaluation of candidates'' files according to the admission bases, requirements and quotas of the programs; Analyze the file and the educational background, diplomas and experiences presented in addition to the candidates'' applications for admission and submit if necessary to the verification service for decision. Requirements Minimum of one year of experience in sales consulting; Experience in the field of education (asset); Computer literate, working knowledge of MS Office; Must hold a valid drivers license; Having worked with CRM software (asset); Fluency in the French language (oral and written); Proficiency in the English language at a professional level (oral and written). This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
