Major Responsibilities Working cross-functionally to develop analysis and recommendations to support the Sustainability and Indigenous Relations team across all aspects of ENMAXs operations. Participate in the implementation of ENMAXs ESG framework by collecting, analyzing, validating, and documenting ESG and environmental performance data in alignment with corporate strategy. Contribute to the preparation of ESG reports and disclosures, including the annual Sustainability Report, through data compilation, analysis, documentation, and review, and coordination with internal stakeholders. Develop, calculate, and maintain Scope 2 and 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventories in accordance with recognized standards and methodologies. Perform quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) on environmental and ESG metrics, identifying data gaps, anomalies, and opportunities for process and data quality improvements. Collaborate with internal business units to improve data collection processes, documentation, and consistency, and governance of sustainability metrics. Develop ESG benchmarking and analysis by reviewing reporting frameworks, monitoring peer performance, tracking emerging ESG trends and requirements, and assessing strategic implications to inform adoption of best practices at ENMAX. Participate in external sustainability and Indigenous relations initiatives and develop communications for the Executive Team, Board of Directors, and cross-functional groups. Support climate-related initiatives by contributing analytical inputs to climate action planning and climate-related physical and transition risk scenarios, coordinating inputs across functions as required. Assist with development and maintenance of ESG and environmental dashboards, working with data visualization specialists and independently preparing charts, tables, and visual outputs as required. Education Required Bachelor''s or Masters degree in Sustainability, Business, Engineering, Economics, Environment, Finance, Law or another relevant discipline. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 2 years of experience with ESG and sustainability-related strategies, implementation and disclosure in the energy or utilities sector. Demonstrated knowledge of ESG reporting and disclosure standards and frameworks (GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, CDP). Background in performing data validation and quality assurance / quality control (QA/QC) of environmental or sustainability metrics. Understanding of climate, environmental science, and social risk concepts relevant to sustainability and ESG. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) in a corporate office environment; data visualization/analytics experience considered an asset. Demonstrated capability in developing or supporting greenhouse gas emissions calculations, including Scope 2 and/or Scope 3 estimates. Experience in operations, risk management, finance, and/or communications is considered an asset. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage datasets, identify trends, and ensure data accuracy. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines. Competencies Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity of sustainability and ESG data. Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to support informed decision making and continuous improvement in sustainability reporting. Clear, confident communicator who can translate technical information into meaningful insights for diverse audiences, including explaining technical topics to nonexperts. Facilitation skills with ability to build strong relationships and guide ENMAX business team members through a collaborative content development process. Organized and selfdirected, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support crossfunctional initiatives in a fastpaced environment. Salary: Analyst A (Current CUPE 2025 rates) $67,171.47 - $71,377.12 - $75,582.78 - $79,768.60 - $83,974.25 Location: 141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB This role will be part of our hybrid work model that includes Core Days in office (Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays), and more time to focus on Mondays and Fridays, either in the office or at home.
