Were looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVACR and gas systems across modular buildings and customer sites. This is a fieldbased role with frequent travel and handson work in our yard when service demands are lighter. What Youll Do Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVACR systems. Diagnose compressors, condensers, evaporators, electrical issues, airflow problems, and system imbalances. Perform refrigerant recovery, handling, and documentation. Install and service gas appliances and gasfired equipment. Conduct gas leak detection, combustion diagnostics, regulator repairs, and pressure testing. Ensure all work meets TSSA and CSA B149 standards. Provide onsite service at customer locations, including occasional overnight travel. Support modular building preparation, cold storage units, Flex units, and yard maintenance as needed. What You Bring 5+ years of HVACR service experience. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic certification ( Red Seal preferred ). Gas Technician certification with the ability to work unsupervised on gasfired equipment. Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems. Experience working independently in field service environments. Ability to support basic plumbing tasks (condensate drains, simple piping, water line connections). Comfort working in both field and yard/shop settings. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Valid drivers license. Nice to Have Experience with modular buildings or mobile office HVAC systems. Exposure to cold storage systems, Flex units, or groundlevel offices. Multitrade experience (basic electrical, basic plumbing). Strong customerfacing communication skills. Familiarity with TSSA and CSA B149 compliance work. Additional traderelated certifications (WHMIS, fall protection, electrical helper, etc.). EPA or advanced refrigerant handling training. Youll work outdoors in varying weather conditions and collaborate closely with a small operations team. A company service vehicle is provided for field calls. Standard hours are 7:30 AM 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday , with limited overtime. PPE requirements include steeltoe boots, long pants, and shirts; we provide a hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and goggles.
