As our International BD Manager, you wont just be ''making calls''you will be the architect of our international footprint. You will find the doors, open them, and deliver the high-level pitches that allow our experienced team to close world-class partnerships with new logos. Role This is a high-impact position within our International Business Development Team, supported by industry pioneers. You are responsible for the front-end of the sales engine. You will identify high-potential global opportunities, qualify them with precision, and lead the initial pitch. Once the opportunity is primed, you will hand it off to our Director for final negotiation and closing. Location This is a hybrid role that lets you work out of our state-of-the-art facility in Barrie, Ontario, and from your home office, with all the tools you need provided. Responsibilities Hunt & Qualify: Identify and engage with pharmaceutical distributors, wholesalers, medicinal cannabis brand owners and clinical partners across international markets. Master the Pitch: Lead the charge in presenting MediPharm Labs value proposition, technical superiority, and GMP standards to global stakeholders. Campaign Execution: Create and execute targeted sales development campaigns tailored to specific products or geographic territories. Handoff: Prepare comprehensive deal briefs that equip our Director or members of our Executive Team to step in and finalize supply agreements. Market Insight: Use your research and market analysis skills to ensure we target the right players in the right regulatory climates. Qualifications Sales DNA: 3+ years of B2B sales experience and a proven track record of ''opening doors'' in complex industries. Industry Edge: Previous experience in the cannabis industry is a major bonus; experience in pharma or biotech in the EU, Australia or UK is equally valuable. Strategic Mindset: Ability to analyze a market and understand where the opportunity lies before you pick up the phone. Communication: Comfortable engaging high-level stakeholders and delivering a high-stakes pitch with the support of an expert team. Experience with CRM systems, lead generation software and pipeline reporting.
