What youll do Feed Mill Operator plays a vital role in contributing to the production of highquality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at Chilliwack Mill. This position supports uninterrupted production operations by proactively identifying and resolving issues. Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance Ensure quality and food safety standards are met Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action Who were looking for 2 3 years manufacturing experience an asset Good computer skills Forklift certification preferred Boiler certificate is preferred (at least Class 5) Ability to work in rotational shifts. Rotating Weekly. Shift time: 5.30AM2.00PM, 1.30PM10.00PM, 09.30PM to 6.00AM Youll also need Ability & willingness to work shifts and overtime Ability to lift 25kgs regularly Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills Ability to focus on details within a fastpaced environment Team player and coachable Exposure to the elements, noise and dust, and working at heights Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills with attention to detail Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities What youll receive As part of Nutreco, youll be a member of the SHV family, a diverse group of companies with a global footprint.
