Position Summary: As the second largest city in Manitoba, with a population of 55,000 and growing, Brandon is the main hub and referral site for southwestern Manitoba, with a catchment area of approximately 200,000 people. Brandon Regional Health Centre is a fully accredited multi-specialty facility with over 300 beds and is currently undergoing a $110 million-dollar expansion of its inpatient facilities, expected to be completed in 2026. It is a satellite campus for the University of Manitoba and the Rady Faculty of Medicine, offering opportunities for teaching and mentoring medical learners. The surgical suite has 7 operating rooms, one minor surgery room, and supports 56 surgical beds. It includes an endoscopy unit with three rooms and onsite diagnostic services such as radiology, ultrasound, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine. Specialist services include pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, anesthesia, general surgery, urology, oncology, orthopedic surgery, and internal medicine. Successful applicants must work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and in a highvolume environment, providing highquality patient and familycentered care.
