Title: Director of Operations Location: Ottawa, ON & Gatineau, QC Reports To: Senior Leadership Direct Reports: Warehouse Supervisors, Drivers, Operational Staff (as applicable) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 Language Requirement: Bilingual (English and French). Position Summary The Director of Operations is responsible for providing strategic and handson leadership across Morin Supplys Ottawa and Gatineau locations. This role oversees all core operational functions, including warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, fleet oversight, and safety compliance. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring operational consistency, efficiency, and high service standards across both provinces while supporting business objectives through strong people leadership, crossfunctional collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Accountabilities Establishes clear operational standards across all locations Builds capable operational leadership at the branch level Aligns operations with company strategy and customer promise Creates accountability through metrics and performance rhythm Drives continuous improvement and operational maturity Ensures operations scale with company growth Champions safety and operational discipline Enables crossfunctional collaboration (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, HR) Measures of Success Consistent ontime, accurate delivery performance Stable, efficient branch operations High inventory reliability and availability Controlled operating costs Strong safety performance Scalable processes across locations Operational readiness for expansion Positive customer service experience driven by operations Profile & Experience Proven experience in senior operations leadership within logistics, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environments with proven ability to scale operations Experience managing multisite operations, ideally across Ontario and Quebec Strong understanding of warehouse operations, fleet management, and logistics coordination Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements and operational compliance Bilingual proficiency in English and French required Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action Clear communicator with the ability to lead across functions and locations Handson leadership style with strategic thinking capability Strong judgment, accountability, and problemsolving skills Adaptable to changing priorities and unexpected challenges Committed to Morin Supplys core value: Be the easiest to deal with.
