About The Team As part of the Business Economics team, the Pricing team is seeking a passionate, driven individual to assist with gathering, tracking, interpreting, and reporting on competitive information. Reporting to the Sr. Manager. Pricing, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organization (like the Marketing, Sales, Pricing and Digital teams) to ensure that the business is wellinformed of changes to the competitive landscape and how those changes affect their goals and objectives. What You Will Do Responsible for the collection and interpretation of data relating to Rogers Business, its brands and competitors, in order to maintain an accurate and uptodate story of the competitive landscape. To help achieve these goals, duties will include, but are not limited to: Reviewing various sources of intelligence for changes in wireless plan prices, hardware pricing, promotional offers and digital / online capabilities. Using shared social media platforms to engage key partners and assess competitive updates. Interpreting marketplace moves to assess impacts to Rogers and key metrics. Examining trends and providing a clear and concise review of key information in order to provide strategic recommendations. Creating and communicating updates via email, instant messaging, presentation, over the phone or in person. Maintaining a log of competitive updates that chronicles the history of the competitive landscape by brand, region and channel. Creating reports and presentations that will be used to help crossfunctional teams in creating quarterly plans, making decisions on pricing/promotions, resizing sales forecasts and measuring performance. Joining crossfunctional meetings to provide assistance in assessing competitive landscape. Collaborating with the Pricing team and stakeholders to work towards common goals. What You Will Bring Flexible availability required, including evenings, weekends, and a regular Saturday shift. An ability to see patterns in data / events. A strong desire to make sense of ambiguity and turn that into a compelling story. A desire to work in a fastpaced environment. Command of the Outlook suite of products (with a priority on PowerPoint slides and Excel). A detailoriented work ethic. A strong organizational / tracking regimen.
