Job Description Associate Director, Client Services Cardinal Path Cardinal Path leverages digital analytics to deliver insight, understanding and outcomes that create competitive advantage for our clients. Clients include Merck, Papa Johns, US Cellular, NPR, MSNBC, DeVry and hundreds of others. Recently acquired by the DentsuAegis Network, Cardinal Path is continuing its rapid growth. We are looking for a Director of Client Services to expand our growth opportunities with top clients and shape the Client Services team for the future. The Associate Director of Client Services will provide strategic oversight and revenue growth on a book of client businesses. The optimal candidate will have expertise in all digital media principles and apply them to defining, planning and executing against a clients objectives. A successful Associate Director must be an effective communicator, capable of working and leading a distributed team responsible for client service and business growth. They must be comfortable mining for new revenue opportunities within existing client businesses or with new clients. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and translate those needs into business opportunities. Duties & Responsibilities Sets the strategic tone, direction and supervision for Cardinal Path clients, including overseeing client needs, staffing, strategy, quality of work and budgeting; clearly identifying and communicating client business strategy and needs crossfunctionally within Cardinal Path. Supports the creation and execution of an analytics plan that drives action and outcomes to grow client business. Creates and maintains solid client relationships through strategy development, project management, report delivery and client communication. Develops a revenuegenerating plan for clients through incremental and new opportunities rooted in a deep understanding of the Cardinal Path offering coupled with research of clients business. Optimizes the drivers of direct sales, including team, technology, spend and programs, to achieve predictability, costefficiency and scale. Develops and monitors key historical business metrics, as well as quarterly and annual forecasts to manage the business. Ensures excellent relationships are maintained and enhanced with appropriate staff at client organizations to achieve continually high levels of customer satisfaction. Supports the Client Services team to ensure quality execution that drives toward client business objectives and key metrics. Evaluates performance daily with the team to ensure client goals are met or exceeded. Works with a crossfunctional Cardinal Path team to execute an implementation plan, meet plan deadlines, customer expectations and program milestones. Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answers technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaches improved processes; mentors team members. Promotes the mission and values of the organization both internally and externally. Works closely with the Senior Client Services Director and team to align with CPs performance and organic growth objectives. Actively participates and develops new accounts, generates sales quotes and handles customer inquiries to help service customers and grow business. Grows existing accounts and assists in the development of net new sales opportunities. Works effectively with others in a teambased environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, engineering, mathematics or statistics; Masters degree a plus. 810 years of work experience, with recent managerial experience in large digital media engagements and an understanding of the media strategies and tactics that can be employed. Proven experience working with $1MM+ accounts; including case studies highlighting the growth of accounts that you have managed. Experience managing profitable budgets, meeting deadlines and managing teams. Experience working with international client accounts a plus. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with experience creating clear, concise, professional documents and presentations. Excellent storyteller. Ability to lead and execute in an ambiguous environment. Motivational and collaborative leadership style. Ability to travel moderately within North America and internationally. The salary range for this position is $97,500 - $125,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge and skills.
