Position Summary We are looking for a professional and safety-oriented Class 5 Owner Operator Truck Driver. The primary role is to operate a straight truck with a capacity of up to 5 tons to transport a variety of goods and materials. Responsibilities include safely loading and unloading cargo, securing loads for transportation, and planning efficient delivery routes. Location: Surrey, BC Schedule: Monday Friday Start Time: 5:00 AM (could vary) Covering Greater Vancouver area Open for hand bombing and load securement Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe and professional manner Reliable, Flexible, punctual and safe driving behaviors What You Will Do Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Manage appropriate cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
